S.A.R. a Princesa Ingrid Alexandra começou seus estudos primários na Escola Jansløkka, em Asker. Para este momento estiveram presentes o Rei Harald V, o Príncipe-Herdeiro Haakon, a Princesa-Herdeira Mette-Marit e Marit Tjessem. A escola está entre as mais antigas de Asker e está localizada próxima de Skaugum.
A Princesa Ingrid Alexandra dividirá a sala com outros 21 alunos e terá como professora Margrethe Setså Jensen.
